Out-of-the box review: Purchased this system to replace a similar, outdated, system. I am impressed with the attention to detail (speaker cables are ‘real’ copper wire, not thin, flimsy strands), the FM reception and options available to adjust sound to the space. The tuner is high quality, pulling in ~30% more stations than the system it replaced. Sound quality on FM was surprisingly good. Decided to play a familiar CD and was shocked with the fidelity and detail. Equipment footprint is small but the HIFI 150 fills the space with exceptionally high quality sound. Also impressive is that when volume is low, sound quality remains very high.
