Having to make a quick purchase as our Roberts CD system couldn’t be repaired we were pleasantly surprised that the Curry’s Staff listened to our requiremments – decent sound, DAB radio and CD player. They recommended the Oakcastle DAB500 – a brand we didn’t know but reassured thst it was excellent quality. We got home and the set up was so easy – tick, yhe sound is great – tick and we are really happy with our purchase. Going into Curry’s really was worth the specual journey – a great sound system at an excellent price – great vslue for money – well done Oakcastle!

I wanted a Roberts Dab/cd çradio at currys but It was only available on line.It was on the day of the train strike in London. I was travelling by bus and wanted to purchase and take home. The currys salesman did not try hard to sell me anything as an alternative. I was disappointed when he walked away to return to his colleagues the store was not busy. I wondered for a moment and there was the Dab 500.itvwasvin my price range.a system plays cds/ bluetooth with updated connects it was perfect.just what I needed.The only problem the store where struggling to give me a chance to hear if play as they had no cd disc.and where struggling to do what I asked to demo it. Tech world shame on you.iam old school.Thry blamed the building as they were struggling to blue tooth it via a phone .Eventually we got it to bluetooth
And wow what a sound I was amazed I purchased it and was very pleased I got .Currys you need to try harder or like Dixon s you go bust.
