Previously had an Oak Castle DAB radio and are still very happy with it. Wanted a CD player and the DAB 500 does not disappoint. Easy to set up the radio channels and the sound quality of CDs is excellent.

I bought this brilliant piece of kit in Autumn 2024, and haven’t looked back, nor regretted my decision to purchase it at all.
I absolutely love the quality of sound reproduction from any of the source inputs. It just does what it tells you it can do, simply by looking at it ! It oozes quality and innovation, a positive breakthrough in affordable audiology.
The remote, although flimsy in appearance, works so well, too, which is invaluable for those times you get back from work, grab the remote and let this machine welcome you back home, and dump all that stress straight away, all while relaxing on your recliner!
Buy it, it’s not often you’ll come across an absolute bargain, and a sure leader in its field. It doesn’t have a ‘big name’, because quite simply, it doesn’t have to, to impress.
