We wanted a compact cd player and dab radio for our dining room and went with the dab500, the size is perfect for us and fits lovely on our small sideboard, the unit is incased in a really nice black wood that gives the dab500 a modern but retro style,setup was a breeze I just turned it on and it was set with the correct date and time and found the dab radio stations without me having to do anything, my wife was eager to get one of her 80,s cds in there it sounded so good, the bass is really nice and didn’t distort at all and the vocals came through clear and crisp, the dab500 is loud enough for a household setting and for its size it does pack a punch, we are really happy with our purchase and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a small size unit but still has everything you need, 5 stars for sure
