Went to check out this unit after reading previous vgood reviews; I love the look and its dimensions.
The guy in the shop said “turn it on”. Wow: deep, clear sound. I bought one.
Initial set up was straight forward. Radio brilliant, just using built in aerial. CD play equally good with clear display and functions working. It’s a sliding draw carrier which I am wary of following several failures- we’ll see how that goes.
Now, THE BUT.
I plugged in a Scandisk USB with my favourites, which works in my car, in my Charity shop Hitachi, my laptop and other devices.
Not the Oakcastle. Perfectly clear Bob Marley became a pub reggae band performing over the dish washing.
Yeah, it “works” but there is a problem.
The real test is how the Manufacturers handle this.
