I exchanged emails with Majority to clarify a few things. I was impressed with the prompt and helpful response.
I have only had it a week, but it is meeting all my expectations.
Enjoyable sound quality and ability to plug it into my existing hifi equipment.
I have been using it with my Beyerdynamic headphones and also plugging it into my Bose speakers to use in rooms where I do not have a CD player.

Bought this via an offer and it is a really great piece of kit. I play it through the Atlas soundbar which I also picked up on offer and the two work brilliantly together. No cables or humming, which I always seem plagued with. I just can’t emphasise enough the quality and value of Majority products. I have an internet radio, portable DAB for my running and an MP3 player as well so that’s five great Majority products and they’re all great.

The CD player is solid, well-made and very good value. You could pay a lot more for something similar. The sound is really good and it’s conveniently rechargeable. A review on Amazon claims the eq is rubbish – my experience is that it’s exceptionally effective – the difference between the settings is both noticeable and satisfying – my one criticism being that your chosen eq setting has to be reselected every time you change cds. But that’s a small thing. I thoroughly recommend this product.
